Rowell/Merryman Wedding & Reception

Finally! I get a good shot of the patio/Glassroom ceremony/reception combo! On Saturday, August 11th, we held the Rowell/Merryman Ceremony and Reception. It couldn't have been better weather!

The ceremony was held on our patio. With the perfect light breeze, it was a serene spot to say "I do."

The bride herself decorated our arch. Didn't she do a great job?!

Back outside the Glassroom, the guest book table displayed pictures of the happy couple.

And this is what the Glassroom looks like on a perfect day all done up for the perfect intimate wedding reception!

White and lilac was the perfect color scheme for this late summer day. We even used some extra lilac linens to dress up the gift table.

Rented from our friends at Fabulous Events, the white chair covers tied with Victorian Lilac satin sashes tied in nicely with the centerpieces.

Here's a close-up of the centerpieces. Those are our brandy glasses!

Ah, the sweetheart table. The bride added some personal touches to make it really sweet!

The piano offered seating and dinner music. The bride added some personal touches there, too.

The cake looked beautiful! With just enough purple, it certainly fit with the room.

I love these little details. Very cute toasting flutes!

Since this was the Rowell/Merryman Wedding Reception, there is a saying that the family used often:

Congratulations to Andrea and Travis! We certainly hope that you will eat, drink, and be Merryman!

Bowers/Hunter Wedding Reception

Want to see what a wedding reception for 350 people looks like? On July 14th, 2012, we hosted the Bowers/Hunter wedding reception in our Ballroom and Glassroom! Despite a little rain, it turned out to be a beautiful day!

Outside the Ballroom, a signature frame, photo book, and framed photos of the couple's parents' wedding photos greeted guests.

Inside the Ballroom, these cute monogramed wreaths decorated the gift table.

The Ballroom was decked out in blue!

The Glassroom offered overflow seating. The scenery was decoration enough!

We had the player piano on to offer musical entertainment.

Centerpieces were kept simple. I didn't get a great shot of the floral centerpieces, but these candles were really neat!

I'll let you in on our little trick: when we need extra seating in the Ballroom, we encroach upon the dance floor just a little bit. Four tables placed on the corner of the dance floor became the reserved tables for the bridal party and family. Looks like we did it on purpose, huh?

No sweetheart table for this couple! They just wanted to mingle with their guests! This "&" symbol reserved their places, though.

At every place setting, we did a pocket fold for the custom-made menus. A single biscotti was also placed at each and every place setting.

Cake! This cake was so cute!

I love the monogram!

The groom's cake we hid in plain sight in the lobby. Very cool X-box cake!

The bar had these cute little chalkboards which displayed what was hosted at the bar.

Finally, back in the Glassroom, a photo booth was available to entertain guests. (Provided by Spanger Entertainment.) Here's the wide array of props available!

What a fun wedding! Congratulations to Christy & Jason!

Toon/Marcum Wedding Reception

Some brides like to keep it simple...and some brides go all out. On Saturday, June 30th, Bluegrass was privileged to be the site of the Toon/Marcum Wedding Reception. With around 250 guests, we were around capacity with the dance floor still open. Check out these awesome photos from that night!

Outside the Ballroom, guests were invited to view some photos of the couple and sign the guest book. This HUGE floral arrangement was brought from the ceremony.

To the left of the arrangement, a frame gave some background about the bride's dress. All wrapped up in one, it was her "Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue." Adorable!

Inside the Ballroom, the guest table was flanked by ferns and lights to really make it grand.

The Ballroom was decked out in white with touches of pink. Light provided by Spangler Entertainment really showed off the dance floor.

Little known wedding fact: If serving heavy hors d'oeurves as opposed to a meal, you don't have to provide seating for everyone. In fact, it makes the guests circulate and socialize. However, it is nice to provide places for the guests to rest their plates. Provided by Liberty Party Rental, these high-top tables made provided just that. To dress them up a little more, the centerpieces were kept simple- glass and candles.

The centerpieces varied- candleabras provided by Liberty Party Rental and fresh florals made each table special.

The cake was NINE tiers tall! With some added bling, it was a masterpiece!

And for the groom's cake (and all you UT fans out there), Smokey! He's so cute!

(I felt bad about cutting him up, but I saved most of him.)

Finally, the fruit, vegetable, and cheese display table boasted a double heart ice sculpture. Wow!

It was a wedding that will be remembered for years. Congratulations to M'Call and Andy!
